About Sterndale Holsteins

Fernydale Farm is home to both the Sterndale & Peak herds of Pedigree Holsteins. Set in the heart of the Peak District National Park in the UK, with land ranging from just over 1000ft to 1300ft. The farm comprises of approximately 300 acres of grassland. It is a working dairy farm milking 110 holsteins, with approximately 150 dairy youngstock. Breeding bulls and embryos are available for sale.

Bill Nadin has over the last few years assembled the Sterndale herd to include some of the world's most popular and renowned cow families including Ashlyn, Elegance, Licorice, Lila Z, Rae and Redrose. Bill's partner, Yasmin set up the Peak herd a few years ago and has family members from Anna, Beauty, Fran, Lustre and Rhapsody.

Yasmin also runs the farmhouse bed and breakfast as well as helping out on the farm. There are three newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms available, see the bed and breakfast website for further details, visitors are always welcome.

Bill has recently teamed up with his daughter Susan and son in-law Mark Nutsford in selling semen through their own company KingStreet Sires. Semen is available from sons of Redrose, Ashlyn, Barbie, Beauty, Licorice, and Sara families with semen also available from the UK's No 1 Bull for Type Toc-Farm Goldsun a family member of the famous Spottie's.
